There was no pathology on physical examination and blood tests. Deformation ratio of sperms was 86% and motility disorder ratio was 72% on semen analysis. Computed tomography (CT) scan revealed the lesion as a mass with 26 hounsfield unit (HU) density. Separation of solid-cystic initially failed, where upon magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was performed. CT and MR pyelography showed an absent left kidney (Figure 1) accompanying cystic lesion in the high internal density located to the left posterio-lateral of the bladder (Figure 2). MRI examination of the lesion revealed cystic dilatation of left seminal vesicle with hyperintense signal changes on both T1 and T2 weighted images indicating a high content of protein (Figure 3). Right seminal vesicle was normal. The patient underwent diagnostic cystoscopy and there was no left ureteral orifice. Seminal vesicle cyst was surgically removed. Seminal vesicle cysts (SVC) are seen with a prevalence of less than 0.005%. (1) Patients usually present with irritative or obstructive voiding symptoms. (2) They are usually detected in patients between 18 and 41 years of age, the period of maximal sexual and reproductive activity.(3) In about two-thirds of the patients with SVC, ipsilateral renal agenesis was also found.(1) Congenital Seminal Vesicle Cyst Accompanying Ipsilateral Renal and Ureteral Agenesis PICTORIAL UROLOGY

Primary Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of a Seminal Vesicle Cyst Associated with Ectopic Ureter and Ipsilateral Renal Agenesis: a Case Report
Primary adenocarcinoma of the seminal vesicles is a rare neoplasm. Congenital seminal vesicle cysts are commonly associated with unilateral renal agenesis or dysgenesis. To the best of our knowledge, mucinous adenocarcinoma of the seminal vesicle cyst that's associated with an ectopic ureter opening into the seminal vesicle and ipsilateral renal agenesis has not been described in the radiologic...

Few cases of unilateral renal agenesis associated with ipsilateral seminal vesicle ectasia or cyst have been reported. Two cases of unilateral renal aplastic dysplasia and ipsilateral ectopic ureter opening in the ejaculatory ducts associated with infertility secondary to bilateral obstruction of the seminal via are reported. Clinical and physical assessment including transrectal ultrasound and...
متن کاملZinner’s syndrome: report of two cases and review of the literature
BACKGROUND Congenital malformations of the seminal vesicle are uncommon, and most of them are cystic malformations. If an insult occurs between the 4th and the 13 h gestational week, the embryogenesis of the kidney, ureter, seminal vesicle, and vas deferens could be altered. Cysts of the seminal vesicle may appear with a mass effect, dysuria, epididymitis, or obstruction of the gastrointestinal...
متن کاملCongenital Seminal Vesicle Cyst Associated with Ipsilateral Renal Agenesis
PURPOSE A seminal vesicle cyst in combination with ipsilateral renal agenesis is rarely encountered. We present cases of this disease entity with symptoms, which were treated with a laparoscopic approach as a minimally invasive surgical treatment. MATERIALS AND METHODS We experienced 4 patients with seminal vesicle cysts and ipsilateral renal agenesis. The mean age was 45.8 years. Chief compl...
متن کامل[Right renal agenesis and ureter ectopic abouchement in cystic dilation of seminal vesicle].
The association of a seminal vesicle cyst with ipsilateral renal agenesis was initially reported in 1914 by Zinner, and it is a very rare congenital anomaly. The association of this anomaly with an ectopic ureter entering the seminal vesicle cyst is even less common. In these cases, clinical symptoms appear in patients 15 years or older due to the distention of the seminal vesicle caused by the...
